Default Military Senior

The AC P117 oil filter element is for use in the Military Senior filter which was used on many WW2 American military vehicles. They will fit most vehicles larger than Weapons Carriers which used a Military Junior the same as the Jeep. Some L/L Chevs were fitted with the Senior. Vehicles with large engines were often fitted with more than one. Hercules RXC and WXLC come to mind. The designation Military Senior is usually stamped on the lid and this applies to GMC, Stude, White S.C, Dia'T, M2 Cletrac etc etc.
To purchase these elements from a motor house you would be paying over $20 each.

Went and had a look at our farm blitz which is a 1945 C60L and it uses these filters with the actual filter bolted to the side of the motor ,High at passenger side rear
