Default Canadian Shermans in Sicily

I personally find operations in Sicily most fascinating. I am
building models of Shermans from the three allied armies in Sicily.

I did some research and found the Canadian Tank Brigade's Shermans had been originally issued to the British 33rd Tank Brigade.
As you are probably well aware, the 1st Canadian Infantry Division and the Canadian Tank Brigade replaced the British 3rd Infantry Division and the 33rd Tank Brigade in the Operation Husky order of battle.

My question is would the Canadian Shermans in Sicily have been painted in SCC2, the standard colour of British armour for this time period ?

I know of the new colours in April 1943 for Sicily and Italy .
The Light Mud (SCC5) with either Khaki Green (SCC7) or Blue Black (SCC14) disruptive patterns, but have yet to see Canadian Sherman in Sicily with this pattern.

All opinions welcome

Marlon,

US-built vehicles were normally not repainted. So the base colour of Shermans, also when in Commonwealth service, was Olive Drab.
