Default CMP heater

I have a Stewart Warner Model 978-M gasoline fired heater "out of an old army truck". It's 6 volt and painted khaki green. It hooks down with 4 heavy lunch pail hooks. The heat comes out one end and the exhaust goes out the top. The burner unit looks the same as the one used under the hood of an M38 but this one has a metal box around it. I assumed it's a Southwinds personnel heater and wonder if it's the type used in CMP's. I have a 43 HUP that could use a heater.

HELLO TO YOU SIR
Thats an interesting little heater but never seen anything like that on a cmp but then i had never seen the arctic heater shown to me by rolf the cab heaters are just hot water and fan units one each side but the arctic heater stands the same hight as the rear body that also has two fans in operation
but its always worth asking as there is always someone out there with the answer
