Default 15-cwt Cab 11 tool box

I am working on a f15cwt and i am unsure of the tool box between the cab and box. I have a tool box not sure what is from but it has a solid lid that goes across the width i think it may be for a cab 11. What i am wandering if the cab 13 tool box has a split lid with a spare tire carrier in the middle or is it like the one i have.

Cheers Larry

It sounds like an early 11 cab box but a photo would help to identify what you have Larry

Larry: This sight is reasonably stringent on the size of the photos. You may have to run them through a photo editor and shrink them a bit. Too many pixels result in a "missing token" warning.

If you want, email them to me and I can post them.

Larry
You have to bring up your photo on your computer, right click and hit edit. It will re-open in a photo editor on your computer. You look for a tab called resize. You will gat another choice of how to edit it. Choose pixels, and then change one of your numbers to 800. When you go to close the photo, it will ask you if you want to save it. Choose yes, and your photo will be small enough to be loaded onto this site.

Anyway, computer 101 lesson over, here are your (resized) photos of a cab 11 tool box. There was no need for a spare tire mount since the tires were run flats at the time. Conservation of rubber eventually led to the use of regular tires, at which time the spare tire mounts became the norm.

Thanks Rob so then is the tool box the same size and shape on the cab 13 design but the lid would be short and would open to the center of the tool box and a spare tire carrier inthe center

Took me a long time to re-locate it, but check this thread (and the pdf downloads in posts 7 & 8):

Some more photos of another good attempt here:

Hope this helps!
