Default Italian Campaign

Pictures of my recent trip to Ortona.
Both the Canadian 1st and 5th Divisions were involved in the Italian Campaign.
To quote L.Col CS Frost of the PPCLI....Dday was also July 10th, 1943...

Monte Cassino pictures to follow.

Looks like "Cookie" is now a proper part of the memorial. She was looking rether forlorn standing in a field on the outside of town two years ago.

Thanks for sharing the pics!
