Default Syrian scenes in 1941

Just been watching the 1961 TV series ANZACS . Todays episode was the Syrian campaign. Many scenes of Ford and Chevy utes and MH tractors. Other scenes included : The French had buried a Kegresse ? Half track which the Australians salvaged , they used it to recover French artillery pieces. Wonder if the series is available somewhere ?

Default Sparrow

Todays episode is Sparrow Force on Timor. Some re-enactments of the wireless set Winnie amd the famous radio contact with Darwin with a CMP equipped with wireless In Darwin. Going through the AWM census books there are a few vehicles listed to Sparrow Force... probably ended in Jap hands.

Hi Tony

Its on free to air on 72 or 73 between 3pm and 4pm daily. They drag it out each Anzac week. I've seen most of them before . The series dates from 1961 . The Timor episode today mentioned Wilsons Prom where the Independent companies trained.
