Hello again gentlemen,
Most (beautifully) restored D15s differ in one point: the shape of the headlights. QUESTION1: What would be the CORRECT headlight bucket type for the D15? QUESTION2: The correct type once identified,: is this bucket in use on OTHER vehicles too? Eg the WC, VC etc series? NOTE: I am aware that the wartime D15 out of Ontario only had one blackout headlight with a“bigger“ bucket. Already in wartime some b/w photos show a second fieldmod - supplemented headlight on the right fender. Often in a SMALLER size than the original LEFT side headlight though. Due to modern roadworthiness requirements we compromise and have two of course. But the NUMBER is not the question here, but the SHAPE. WC series appear much more standardized and easier to determine to me… Thank you, Erwin in the snow |
