Posting Want Ads

Hi guys. I was just wondering if others get frustrated or have experienced issues with courtesy regarding Want Ads and other For Sale ads etc.
Here’s what I’m getting at.
MLU is a great Forum to exchange information within our hobby.
Lots of ya like to help each other out, oftentimes merely passing on a Heads Up to help preserve items or fill others wants.
Why is it then, that all too often, Members place postings on the Forum wanting or selling something, only to ignore replies?
If I am selling or looking to buy I certainly do my best to check back regularly on MLU to keep communications open.
All too often I hear collectors complain that they can’t find something or missed out etc. We are our own worst enemies.
