CMP Cyprus
Hi does anybody have any knowledge of a post war donation of a number of CAB CHASSIS F15 AND C15 CMP's by Canada to Cyprus?
An elderly Greek friend of mine who was in the Cyprus Army post WW2 advised me that he regularly drove CMP's with timber and steel framed trays which were built locally for the donated vehicles in a pattern not dissimilar to those on some of the early cab CMP's. My interest is that I have purchased his C15 from him as he has decided that he has reached the age where he no longer requires it.The tray, side boards, gates and rear seats were built by him around 20 years ago as a copy of what he remembers he used to drive back in Cyprus. |

Hi Hanno Thanks for your reply and yes it does look like this but one must bear in mind that it was built from the guys memory of what was once very familiar to him. I will follow up with photos as soon as I can but at this time it is around 200 klm's from where I live but should be able to post within a few days.
