Default USA Markings?

Hello Thomas

According to the information i found on the internet, It was constructed soley by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Seven Regiments were involved.

Canada permitted the US to build it, however they had to cover the complete cost and the Canadian portions of the road had to be turned back to Canadian control after the war.
