Anybody know Dean Owen?

Hi everyone,
I was hoping someone knows Dean Owen from the Whitby/Ajax area. I bought some stuff off him in May of this year and as of today almost five months later have still not received the items.
He has not answered my last four emails and last contacted me five weeks ago saying he was going to ship the package that week.
Anyone ever done business with this guy?? Am I going to have to contact the authorities to get my money back??

Yes, Jeff, I've dealt with Dean Owen.

He is a principal mover and shaker with the Camp X project.

I bought a vintage military field switchboard from him recently.

The unit was missing some critical parts.

Upon contacting him, he hemmed and hawed, tap danced through a flurry of e-mails.

Result is that I have no confidence in doing any further transactions with him.

Caveat emptor.

Don't wish to flame the guy, but, in our fairly tight knit group of militaria collectors, the word gets out.

I got my package this week. Dean did include alot of extras to make up for the delay.
