Hi lynn
the holes were in the same places but were not rivetted in it had a bren AA mount bracke still attached on one side or what was left of it and i think it had a mk2 box on the back at some point also there were a few footman loops attached at one end. and the side armour had the deep water base plate welded over the holes for the mk1 angle that held the gun rests. also there was signs of a tube being welded to the top edge. |

So it was a MkI Universal that had been converted to a MkII. Not a Mortar carrier.

Speedo drive?
Quote:
Are you talking about the speedo drive that goes in the rear axle? I still need the gear CTL2216 and housing CTL 2510 B2 to screw in the axle. If you are having these reproduced I would like a set. Richard is kind enough to loan me his but if you are allready making them that would be easier. Please let me know. Thanks, |
Marc i think this is a case of bits traded and swapped rather than repro bits buddy. if you take a drwing of the item to a machinist and get a quote like i say i am happy to ship mine over to you, but i would need it back.

If there are other members missing these parts I will get more made. Anybody? Cheers, Marc |
Yes PM sent. i would be inclined to get a price for a run of them it sometimes works out cheaper rather than rig a machine to do one... its certainly something we will all need at some point buddy.
