How does the tool box fit to the chassis?
2 Attachment(s)
I have a tool box lined up to go behind the cab of my F15A Cab 13. I got two brackets off the rusty remains of one, and tried to figure out how it should be fitted to the chassis.
There are two holes in the chassis (circled red), these line up with the holes in the bracket (circled yellow). But the bracket has two holes while the chassis only has one, plus they are not on the same level. Who can help with pictures, drawings, info on how these tool box brackets were fitted to the chassis? Thanks, Hanno Attachment 74387 Attachment 74388 |

This is the type of tool box I refer to. The brackets run over the top and sides of the toolbox and serve as the basis for the spare wheel carrier.

Hanno, check out my restoration thread and see post 57. I think there might be a plate or two that can bolt on. They act as an adaptor for the tool box.

Hello Hanno, did have a look at Martijn's C15, only the holes on the outside of the brackets are used, there is also a filler plate to compensate there is no crossmember for the transfer case.
