Default taps is taps

Hi LYnn.

The tap in the second image from left - does it by any chance have a small hole in the handle ?

The Scout Carrier would have originally had something that looked like that and matched the marking on the Ahrens control I guess. I am also guessing it would have to have been a reasonably long handle for the bourden cable to obtain enough leverage.

I have a choice between bedford RL, Landrover, CMP and LP2 carrier taps - each different in design - and can adapt one for the job (they are well hidden inside the engine covers anyway) but thanks for posting up the comparison shots.

Cheers

Phill
