You can say that again. On his first tour my son was in a D & S Platoon escorting convoys in the RG. His Platoon hit several IEDs and wrote off a few RGs during that tour. No one was KIA, and only one person was sent home due to injuries. All the rest completed the full tour.
The RG in the photos doesn’t look like an IED victim. There are no signs of blast. It may have being the victim of a training accident.

I’ve ordered and received the kit. It looks good but there are two errors. First the RWS comes with a .50 cal MG and not the C6. My son had trained with the .50 cal MGs in Valcartier, but they were not used in Afghanistan. More serious the coolant overflow tank is missing from the left fender.

I have a question. There is an anti-slip surface on the engine hood and the left fender. Is it also on the right fender or is it omitted because of the tool rack? There is also anti-slip on the roof around the RWS. Dose it cover the entire roof or only the front portion?
