Pure speculation, but prior to becoming a sniper's plinking target, it looks like it was battlefield recovered and then cannibalized at KAF. Quite a few vehicles were severely damaged during the recovery process rather than be either destroyed in place, or picketed for long periods of time. The RG was a real love it or hate it platform, but no doubt saved many lives.
