Yes, I know about the M113's, but it was just a sugestion open for debate. You are also aware of the CF attitude towards tracked armour.... So given the options, when they were discussing the possibility of using gators or ATV for mud recce, why not use light armour (Ferret).
You could't possibly get a bigger fan of track (I'm ex RCD), "but it's not economically sustainable"....that's what we were told when we lost our Leos.
What else is there that's small enough to conceal in a garage. The Weasel has tracks, and the GM Lav division couldn't possibly make anything smaller than a school bus. Next?
