Hi guys
I am looking for some pictures of doghouses in Cab 11 and Cab 12, for both, Chevy and Ford. I am finishing both cabs in scale, but my reference on this part are rather poor and confusing, and any more info and pictures of these will be very welcome and much appreciated. Additionaly if anyone could help me with photos, drawings and dimensions of 30cwt and 3 tons frames, once again for both, Chevy and Ford. Anything helps. I am very new to this subjects, but I wanna get every details as accurate as possible. Cheers Libor |

![]() ![]() Libor from what little I could see of the doghouse in your #11 cab Ford resin kit it is incorrect as are the front hubs for a 2 wheel drive F15. Glad to see you are trying to correct this doghouse issue before making the 30cwt kit.

Libor I have rough drawings with measurements of the Ford 4 wheel drive chassis. The differences between the short (134in) and long (158in) chassis is a shorter difference in the length between the front - rear spring hanger and the large crossmember holding the transfer case. The SWB has one driveshaft and the LWB 2 with a fixed bearing at the join.
PM me your email address and I will send you what stuff I have which includes springand brake drum sizes as well as a scale drawing of the Ford chassis. May have measurements and drawings of the front drive axle as well. Attached is a photo of my scratchbuilt 11 cab F60L (Aust) although I used the Tamiya Quad kit motor wheels and axles the cab is scratchbuilt as is the chassis and rear body. ![]() more pics here - http://s108.photobucket.com/albums/n...60GS11CABAUST/

G.Day Libor,
Just to add to your confusion... And I can only speak on fords, The cab 11 is different to the cab12 is different to the cab 13. However, the differences in 11 vs 12 are very small, mounting differently but the same shape. Happy to photograph both for you (dissembled) if you like but will not be able to post for a while as I an out of broadband! H ![]()

Hey, Cliff, very nice model, but I don't see a hatch on your Australian F60 cab ......
![]() PS: I looked up 'dog house' in my CMP parts lists and couldn't find it listed..... does it have a REAL name, per chance?? ![]() Mike C |

Come to think of it, was there ever such a thing as an F60L CAB 11 (Aust) ie an F60L cab 11 assembled in Australia, with Australian Army mods and with an Australian standard GS body?
I love a good debate, and this one will be interesting....... ![]() Mike C |

Hi guys
thank you very much for your kind help! Cliff, PM sent. I believe all these small errors will be corrected in my new kit ![]() Howard, any pictures will help, expecially Cab 12. I have almost finished Cab11, only the doghouse needs proper shape. The rest is about right I believe, though there are some little things which required compromises, not everything can be done perfectly in scale, molding technology has some limits, and wall thickness of the sheet metal in scale is always a big pain and headache to deal with. Cab 12 will be next, and any more pictures will help sooner or later, many thanks Anthony, thank you, these are great and will help a lot to get my Ford Cab 11right ![]() Once again, thank you all, and keep them coming please Cheers Libor |

When I got all the pics loaded with the paperclip buttton ..then I clicked on the paper clip again and a small window opened with an attachment button.then each picture you can write words beside.. If that makes any sense.
Anthony

The 8 cwt covers are the same as the 15 cwt ones for the same make and cab style. That should be clear as mud too!!
