Happy Dominion Day!

On this date, we mark the 138th birthday of Canada as an independent entity. The Libs call it 'Canada Day' now, so fly your Dominion Red Ensign with pride!

Today also marks the 89th anniversary of the 1st Battle of the Somme, the number of casualties of which, I believe, marks the beginning of the end of the British Empire.
