Default Mortor Ammo Box?

This ammo box came with some other stuff a while back, curious as to what it was for. The box is unmarked, contains 2 x 3 carriers marked No. 11, 1944. I am assuming they are for mortar rounds, if so what size? I have seen a similar box before, but never the carriers.
As usual any information would be gratefully received.
Rich

Good to see it has the parts usually turfed!

Thank you Tony and Keith.
Starting to regret selling those Mortor legs at Corowa a few years back.

Just came across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/WW2-AUSTRALIA...o%3D%26ps%3D63
1 carry handle and 3 tubes only for a Starting price $145.....I would happily sell my box complete with 2 sets of tube carriers AND transport to Corowa for that.
Almost hope he gets it....
Rich.
