I remember some time ago seeing a CMP which had been involved in a fatal accident when pulling out of a driveway back in the 1950s.

Yesterday I found another... Butter wouldn't melt in it's mouth... ![]() A C15A, I think started life as a silvan. But something isn't quite right... ![]() Do you see it? Despite the grille, that's an entire Ford cab 'engineered' on. Talking the owner, this was given to him some time ago, and had been a Rural Fire Service truck which had been rolled, resulting in the fatality.

A bit of gas axe technology was employed...

![]() Cab mount ![]() Most likely from a F15A, this was a sunshine roof cab which was converted with a lot of welding. The original Chev dash was used complete with late instrument upgrade. The wooden part of the steering wheel had been replaced with a steel tube version welded on.

Keith - when you say silvan - do you mean 'civilian' or silvan as in the Dandenongs?

Of course! But this one is a little more than 5 miles north and a bit further to the east...
