1944 Oil Can, military or not
I found this while on a road trip.
it is date stamped 1944 but I could not find any broad arrow. It is a green or brown colour. Anyone recognise it or can explain what it might be?

Looks very similar to the one supplied with the 25-pdr field gun. It sat to the right of the saddle in a timber holder with a leather(?) strap.
