I would like to know that too, all the time I thought those bowls are for the legs of the middle passengers... I am really curious.
Here a the view from another angle.

On the Morris's and the Guy the loops were for ammo box kind of a ready rack if the crew needed to go into immediate action

Default "Bowl"

(Years ago there was a raging debate on the old AFV News Forum called, The Comb'. This question reminds me of that conversation.)

If you look at the height of the seats, you'll see a difference in height. That difference relates to the flat floor in front of some seats, and the bowl in front of others. I think the bowls are simply footwells for the soldiers' feet. Why the designers complicated things with flat and depressed sections is another matter.

No idea why there are straps loops on the floors.

They could hold something placed between the bowls. Maybe the reason why the bowls are so far from each other..? ...another box with something?

They look about the right size for a large ration tin to fit in.
