The 41 Buick the army has in Bandiana was , I believe , the vehicle that was sitting derelict for many years in the back streets of Middle Park, Melbourne. Many years ago ( mid 1970's ) after a VMVC meeting had closed , a few of us drove around and found it abandoned in a laneway . In poor condition and still in black .
Found this: http://www.buickclub.org.au/Buick_Pa.../ContentID/250 BTW one of the 42 Chev convertables mentioned ( 18 ) was seen by me at last weekends Trafalgar swap meet ! The owners had a display describing that the cars were on the way to Malaya , but were offloaded in Darwin , being RHD cars.
