Here's a WW1 picture of my uncle Jack Bushman sitting on the fender of a Canadian Karrier truck in France or Belgium in 1917 or 1918. He served with the 7th Battalion of Canadian Railway Troops.

I meant "in Canadian service" but didn't state it. I just thought it might be of interest.

Whoever the hell's service it was in, it doesn't matter! Neat truck, and now with a personal history to-boot!
I wonder if any of these still exist. Have you any other photos of your uncle in that time and space?

that is a neat picture. It is nice to see photos of these WW1 trucks and to have the history behind the photo as well is even better.
Like Geoff has asked would you have any other pics of this time period you would share with us? thanks Cliff ![]() |

Sorry guys, that's the only picture I have. Jack's outfit was at Ypres, Passchendale, Messines Ridge, etc., right in the heat of things on the western front and they didn't even get to carry guns for the most part.
