Thank you for the link as it has been a while since I tinkered with engines - more years than I care to remember. I was hoping that there was something practical out there in webland that could align some brain cells again. The Boxwrench people have site to the DVDs http://store.boxwrench.net/Basic-Eng...g-DVD_p_8.html. The cost of the DVD on engine rebuilding seems quite reasonable. Yes, the guys sure do make things look so easy! It would be fun to have them make a video about starting work on a truck that has not ticked over for decades and see how easy they find that! "Here we are with a truck that has been sitting out in all the elements for twenty years. But first I have to get to the engine. It shouldn't be that hard a task ..." Kind Regards Lionel

Hi Lionel
Yup the video makes engine reassembly look easy, particularly with a nice clean set of parts, in a clean well lighted shop. What I wonder about every time I'm trying to reassemble and engine or gear box is how the heck did they guys do this out in the desert or in a muddy open air repair area? Next time I disassemble and reassemble a CMP motor I'll have to do a time lapse photo record. Cheers Phil

It will appear in the next Corowa DVD, YOTB II, out March 2010. Unfortunately it doesn't cover the complete engine rebuild, just getting it going out in the field.
