| Manuals and Drawings in Ford Archives

Hello, I was just looking at the Ford Archives website and came across this entry for WWII military manuals for Ford vehicles: Manuals The entry states that there is an inventory of these manuals but it doesn't appear to be accessible online. Does anyone out there have access to a list of titles in this collection that they would care to share? Also of interest is their collection of over 1 million technical drawings here: Technical Drawings Again, it appears to be only searchable in person. Is there anything of interest relating to Ford's WWII military trucks? My particular interest is in the 1940-41 Ford 1½ ton regular (as opposed to c.o.e.) trucks. I am looking for drawings and photos of the 158" chassis and drivetrain but would appreciate hearing about any interesting discoveries others might have found at this archive. Thanks! Mark |

Hi Mark You might contact Jim Gilmore in the US. He has spent considerable time in the Ford archives and probably knows more about them than anyone. I don't have a recent contact for him but maybe someone on this forum has something. Cheers, Barry
