Default The Final Drive

A fitting farewell,

......The Royal Canadian Regiment honoured one of its "greatest career soldiers" today.
A funeral was held in London for Captain John Reid, a highly-decorated veteran best recognized for his efforts in the Second World War.

The funeral contained numerous ceremonial tributes rarely seen for passing veterans.

Check out the link.

Default the greatest RCR?

I recall Strome Gallway had a very eventful and lively WWII career that included many of the famous battles. He was Mr. RCR for a long time. Supposedly he wrote the Op Order for his funeral and left it with his will.
