Hi Guys, I just wondered which carriers never had a folding flap on the left side.
Were any MkI* Universals built like this? Or is this just Mortar Carrier territory?

The installation of bases for attaching upper hull deep fording extension plates caused the folding section to become redundant as it became fixed in the raised position. |

With a small pause in the conversation. So Canada did build MkII* U.Cs. with no folding flap then?
Next question; Did the Brits built MkI U.Cs without the folding flap, other than Mortar carriers?

![]() The MK-II* (C31UCW) gunner left protection plate is a single plate without folding flap. The profile is similar to the MK-I* when the folding flap is in the raised position. . Last edited by Michael R.; 17-05-22 at 04:40. |

You and me, Michael. Two carrier nut cases under the street light. No one else in sight.
I have more questions, but will go to email. Thankyou my friend.
