Default Aust BGC production differences

While working on my front stub axle mounting plates I noticed a difference between some of the plates and thought I would share it with others.
I have come across 3 different plates- see the pics.
The red plate appears to be original and not a modified or butchered plate.
I have several of each (except for the red plate) L & R, so they are not one off items.

this thread may prompt others to share some production changes/differences- so post away!

I know there is some variation on stowage boxes and the mounting of the locking latches.
