That's a beautiful truck.....period! Bravo on the resto and detailed pictures. A person has to wonder where the other 10 are sitting? That Canadian Forces emblem that was on it was affectionately named the "Cornflake" by new recruits due to the cap badge that we wore. Are you going to put them back on?

Default 1956 ford range tender

The original signage on the truck was ARMY FIRE SERVICE ON BOTH SIDES
AND BROOMS written on the rear lower drawer..... I imagine those decals were applied after it arrived at its new location.

The decals would have been applied upon unification of the Canadian army, navy and airforce in 1968. It would not have had anything to do with changing units, bases or departments.

Those decals should still be available if needed in the procurement system.
