| Aust C60L Stores truck

On the weekend I came across this vehicle, which is in quite good condition (NO it is not for sale!!) and thought I would share it with you. Bought from a Fire Brigade in NSW, it has a makeshift body and last ran 3 to 4 years ago. The red paint is peeling off the Army green underneath, it is a TRUCK-3 TON- STORES AUST- NO- 2, C60L. This vehicle has the earlier civilian rectangular dash with the data plate only half stamped. It still has the original rear canvas curtain and mudflaps.

Thanks Darrin for the photo's, I noticed the War Office No. is 52. On Keith's old cmp site 52 is listed as a Tanker on C60s chassis. This truck looks like a C60L to me. Jeff |
