Default Boiler Steam ( Aust) No2

Boiler Steam (Aust) No2 type disinfector boiler on trailer.
Serial No 59 Date 1943
other markings are HB over S the D and D and Arrow over 418

This is still in working order owned by a little old ladie and was used by her and her husband in the Apery industry since just after the war.

I belive it came out of far North Queensland.

Has any one got any info on this type of trailer.

At this stage she is looking for a new home and for it not to go to scrap.

As I understand both the boiler and sterilising unit is on one trailer ie semi as for pictures, I have seen some poor quality phone pics but will endevor to get some, if there is some intrest I will take a run up to were it is.

All the photos I have of mobile laundry units show all equipment mounted on either 4 wheel trailers (4 or 5 make up a whole laundry) or on 3 ton trucks. This does not mean that they did not have them mounted on semi-trailers meerly that I do not have photos of any. I would be interested in photos of the unit for research purposes only and not as a likely purchaser.

I must admit Cliff that my future son in law has me intrested too, so I will find the time to have a look. I would say that Bandiana is probly the place for it. I cant see any one towing it to Corowa.
