Have had a very stimulating birthday so far with a chap who flew Catalinas, Beauforts and Beaufighters who was also the school chaplain at my school. We spent over three hours talking about all sorts of things including some very interesting flying experiences he had as well as those of other former teachers and students.
As for the border raids.... Shhhhhhhh!

Well I didn't get to drive a blitz on the day but am making up for it today and tomorrow in different ways - tomorrow of course is the secret mission involving assisting in a border raid but also revisiting an interesting yard on the return trip...
And today delivering a front shell to go onto my old FGT No8 which is being restored by Alan Growse.

BTW, Tim has kept his birthday quiet.
On Tim's birthday he cranked up all the toys and put on a display at a local show. Cant think of a better way to spend the day off work and your birthday. Happy Birthday mate.
