Default The mother lode

Check out ebay seller trooper567 , or do a search on that site for bren carrier. He has some of the carrier holy grails up for sale. I suspect this will be a feeding frenzy, especially at the last few minutes.

Some of the items he is posting I have never seen in my few years of collecting. In the wrap track pins with a storage bag. I never even knew such a bag existed.

Hey, how about I call dibs first, and nobody else bids??

I didn't think so.

Jordan:
I think I saw that spindle tool on Bruce Harris's want list, along with some of the other items. I wouldn't count on that bid of yours holding the pole position for very long.

Hi, Someone gave be a snail track adjuster original not long back, I bought a jack for £100 and thought it was overpriced, these items do come up for sale now and then. just got to look in the right places, wouldnt mind seeing a correct walker jack just to see what its looks like.

Is this what you search? I am working on a colour reference manual for tools and accessories. Can I put you down for a copy WHEN its ready?
Cheers,

I had an original years back....it was still kicking around one of the QMs. Seems to me it had a smaller head on it, and had crossed recesses on top to better support the lifting bar without slipping.

The first auction ended a couple of hours ago. This was for a track pin punch. Selling price was $172.54, which is pretty impressive considering Brian Asbury sells them for $70.

6 hours to go for 5 other tools including the track jack and the adjusting cam. They are already at fairly high levels.

You don't win on ebay, you just pay more than anybody else in the world.
