Hi,
Wondering if anyone has any info they could share on our F15. A little while back I noticed its civvy paint had peeled enough to spot an ARN and some careful poking with a screwdriver or something (sanding was useless) revealed some more. Thankfully the number was repeated at an angle across the right vent and I'm pretty sure the first number is a '5'. Thanks Alex |

I had a look through the photographs I've taken of the army registration books but don't have that number block. In any event that won't tell you a lot except where it was first issued, what type, tyre size, engine number and usually disposal details and the date it was disposed.
What I can tell you is if that data plate was on your vehicle it was one of the Canadian imports (rather than with the Australian partly built cab and body). It should have the Canadian rather than the Aussie railway plate floor. Quote:

It has checker plate floor in both the 13 cab and the 2CI body. The tag on lower left side of body almost at the rear, says 42 03 and the body serial. Thanks Alex |

I see you guys talking about a tag on the left section of the floor.
Was this only on Aussie models or imports as I have never came across this here in Canada Stew |
