Default Cab 11 and Cab 12 doghouse, 30 cwt frame

Hi guys
I am looking for some pictures of doghouses in Cab 11 and Cab 12, for both, Chevy and Ford. I am finishing both cabs in scale, but my reference on this part are rather poor and confusing, and any more info and pictures of these will be very welcome and much appreciated. Additionaly if anyone could help me with photos, drawings and dimensions of 30cwt and 3 tons frames, once again for both, Chevy and Ford. Anything helps. I am very new to this subjects, but I wanna get every details as accurate as possible.
Cheers
Libor

All the dog houses are the same from 15 cwt up in both Ford and Chev
Ford is a 2pc and chev is a one pc. the 11 and 12 cabs ones are different from the 13 cabs

Stew you are WRONG! Ford and Chev are different as are the 11/12 to the 13 cab ones. They are however the same in Ford for the 15cwt to the 60cwt but different between 11/12 to 13 cab and the same applies to Chev.

God this is confusing

Libor from what little I could see of the doghouse in your #11 cab Ford resin kit it is incorrect as are the front hubs for a 2 wheel drive F15. Glad to see you are trying to correct this doghouse issue before making the 30cwt kit.

Smile Chassis

Libor I have rough drawings with measurements of the Ford 4 wheel drive chassis. The differences between the short (134in) and long (158in) chassis is a shorter difference in the length between the front - rear spring hanger and the large crossmember holding the transfer case. The SWB has one driveshaft and the LWB 2 with a fixed bearing at the join.

PM me your email address and I will send you what stuff I have which includes springand brake drum sizes as well as a scale drawing of the Ford chassis. May have measurements and drawings of the front drive axle as well.

Attached is a photo of my scratchbuilt 11 cab F60L (Aust) although I used the Tamiya Quad kit motor wheels and axles the cab is scratchbuilt as is the chassis and rear body.

Lynn I know there has to be a better way to say it but I could not think of it and I was trying to be diplomatic and not rude to either Libor or Stew.

Wink More confusion...

G.Day Libor,
Just to add to your confusion... And I can only speak on fords,
The cab 11 is different to the cab12 is different to the cab 13.
However, the differences in 11 vs 12 are very small, mounting differently but the same shape.
Happy to photograph both for you (dissembled) if you like but will not be able to post for a while as I an out of broadband!
