Well, after years of waiting, it has started... It's Finished update...
Well, after a long wait, I finally am having my ATG restored.
This is what I started with..... Coming Home.......  What I got.....

The 57 mm isn't one you hear much about.
I met a WW2 vet at an MVPA convention in Portland, Oregon years ago who had been part of a 57 mm gun team in the advance across Europe. He was rightly proud of the fact that at one point they had knocked out an 88 by putting a shot into the ammunition supply. The greatest generation? I've got no argument with that. It come off a old firing range. I was told. It has a couple bullet holes in the cut off trails that I'm going to leave.
Barrel is bad, and recoil mech is bad, so it will never be live fire, but will make a good static display, or blank fire. I made a LARGE circle to pick up a bunch of stuff for me, and others.... Went from Memphis, to Colorado Springs, to pick up a halftrack engine, and drive axle. Then went to Sonda Arizona, to get fender, and misc floor boards. Then to Phoenix to pick up a lathe. Then to College Station to pick up the cannon. Then home.

Well my last piece arrived at Marshall's today.
 They say it should be ready next week. Plan on picking it up on a week from this Saturday.

Looks great - wish there was someone over here sufficiently familar with Artillery pieces I could go to to get one of my Pack Howitzers restored properly.
Will be great to see some pics when it's completely done. Tim
