If you go down to the woods today
Or more specifically, The New Forest here in the UK. About a year ago, I and another MV collector, were asked to value not one but two GPW's for probate This we duly did and expressed some interest in purchasing them, if they became available. Well, one thing has lead to another, and I am now the proud owner of one of the GPW's. This one was registered in Portsmouth in 1948, and has only had 3 previous owners. The last owner had the engine rebuilt in 1997, and had done very little to it since then.
I am very tempted to get her up and running, and show her as she is, just to be different . Just shows, they are still out there ! Keith
