CMP Reflectors/Tool Stowage

Were CMP's originally fitted with rear reflectors? I've never seen any in photos but I'd like to put a pair on for safety's sake

What about shovel/axe etc. Were CMP's fitted out with these. If so, where stowed (especially on/in a 1B1 box)?
