I went to his memorial service yesterday. It was quite a large hall with seating for a few hundred, people were standing all around the walls and there was a large crowd outside who could not get in. Good wake with lots of laughs.

Thank you for letting us know how Charlie's service went. I first met Charlie on Back To The Track in 1995 and in subsequent years at Corowa. He had been in contact during the last year or so over the new truck he bought from the UK and I was able to assist him with technical information. We last spoke early this year. It came as quite a shock when the sad news came through at Corowa.
He was one of the characters of our hobby and will be missed by many I have no doubt.
