Just a note on Charlie Anderson.
I went to his memorial service yesterday. It was quite a large hall with seating for a few hundred, people were standing all around the walls and there was a large crowd outside who could not get in. Good wake with lots of laughs. I was told numbers between 400 and 800 but whatever it was, Charlie sure had a lot of friends. Of that X00? I guess most of them would have been helped by Charlie either physically or with advice at some time. His two sons now have the huge task of trying to stocktake all his vehicles, equipment and workshop machinery. A great loss to the old vehicle movement. Lang |

Thank you for letting us know how Charlie's service went. I first met Charlie on Back To The Track in 1995 and in subsequent years at Corowa. He had been in contact during the last year or so over the new truck he bought from the UK and I was able to assist him with technical information. We last spoke early this year. It came as quite a shock when the sad news came through at Corowa. He was one of the characters of our hobby and will be missed by many I have no doubt. RIP Charlie regards, Richard

For those who know Dennis Taylor from Sydney. He was released from Corowa Hospital yesterday after being in for 9 days. His son will be going down to Corowa to assist with Dennis and Sandra's return this weekend.
