Default Linkage pins !

Folks, I have a number of linkage pins which need replaced, what have people been making them out of in the past ? Do they need to be a high carbon steel ? Can HT steel nut and shouldered bolt be used ?

I have a few that I am missing.

Finally, I am also missing a nut from one of the floor bell cranks, can anyone tell me what the thread size is etc so I can make or order a new one..
