Hi,
Can anyone help me with where I could purchase (preferably in Australia) the complete 4WD linkage (including brackets) from the high/low 4WD shift lever box to the T/F case 4WD dog clutch rod for a no13 cab chev CMP. |

I am also looking for the same linkage assembly, but in Canada. I have two C60 trucks, neither had any of the mounting brackets or cross control shafts. From searching a total 5 truck chassis I have only come up with one - - Bracket, control cross shaft, I'm not sure if it is left or right yet. It would seem that the linkage assemblies are removed, for some reason, and never replaced.

Hi Gordon,
Here I have found they removed them and generally cut a hole in the floor and put a lever directly on the 4WD engaging rod. That way they could engage 4WD in high or low range and easily pull it in or out. Many post war businesses which used blitzes in Australia for logging, farming or as fire trucks did this modification. Robin |
