Default Unknown 15cwt

Anyone know the history of this..?
Outside a wrecking yard north and west of Whitby.

Driven by it a hundred times on the way to Ontario cottage country.
Never paid much attention…

With permission of the owner…..finally stopped and took a few snaps..

Not for sale he said….was our yard wrecker for many years…
Now an advertising sign.

He admitted it needed a bit of TLC..
And just a few weeks later it was repainted..

Seems to be pretty original…and pretty early ..

May I ask…...What are we looking at…??
