Default Airdrome Utility Trailer, Type F-1

Hello Folks,

Need a little help here. I found some data on a "Trailer, Airdrome Utility, 1/2-Ton, Type F-1" in TM9-2800. It was supposedly used by the USAAF, and towed by Truck, 1/4-ton, 4x4 (Jeep?). I also found it listed in the below copy of "Classification of Equipment for Inventory Control", so it was apparently still a stock item in 1953 (or at least, hadn't been de-listed). Aside from this, no other information.

Does anyone have any further info on this trailer? Or even some in-service photos? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Owen.
