I have written a book describing how to make a replica Bagnold sun compass.
- A5 soft cover
- 72 pages
- 58 illustrations, 50 of which are in colour
- the book is in 5 chapters with four annexes describing the need for a sun compass, how sun compasses work, a full dimensioned description of each of the 21 parts and advice on how to make them.

The description is based upon measurements and photographs of the original Bagnold sun compass held at the Imperial war Museum, Duxford.
The cost of the book is £12.50 plus postage and packing.
