New HUP

Hey,

Well, my day in the bush paid off. This is the HUP that I was looking for, although it's quite tough it does have some usable parts left on it. Over the years the driveline was removed and most likley used on a skidder, but the body wasn't cut up or completely stipped of parts.

I did speak to the owner, (as luck would have it they were in at their camp working on improving the trail in!) and I was able to secure the remains for a very resonable price.

The cowl (which is actually in very good shape) was beside the truck and has remains of the unit markings in it. Does anybody know what unit(s) "221" in a rectangle could refer to?

I always loved the HUP, but this one is really not worth restoring. That being said, there are some good pickings on it like the roof hatch, small parts, and the front end, that will probably come in handy in the future.

Too bad I didn't have a cut up HUP kickng around here that needed body parts only.
