Hi Col Princess is fine and I think early WW2 German stuff was painted Field Grey but it did change towards the middle of the war with different camoflage colours and of course the desert yellow the Afrika Corp. used. Others more knowledgeable will correct me I'm sure.

Yep..Probably a 980/81 model..the bigger of the Diamond "T"'s..6 ton rating 6X6 tank transporter...The soft top models came later in the war production series..after '43 ..I think..
Here is an early one here..'41 diaT M19 with M9trailer

But any of the Diamond "T"s could have been hooked up to the trailer and done the job...4Ton or 6 ton 6x6's..
