Default Paint and other fun things

Well, I picked up my hard top today - what a pain in the ass! Not only is the bloody thing heavy and awkward, I found that the 74 year-old vehicle owner had actually painted the side windows over in camouflage! We're going to be busy for a while trying to scrape all that off so that you can actually see out of the Jeep...

In other news, I bought a pintle mount and pintle hook from Princess Auto today, which is great... but they badly need paint (they're black)! Does anyone in the GTA have any flat khaki paint they can spare? I really only need one litre, for the pintle stuff and touch ups, and I'd like to avoid paying a premium to mix up a new batch. Failing that, is there a formula I could use to get a small amount cheaply?

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Jif

Canadian tire, TSC and Walmart all have camo in spray cans these days. Krylon, rustoleum, and even tremclad all supply the olive green, desert tan and other colors. You may not find an exact match to the color you need, but you'll likely come pretty close.

BTW, does anyone know of any steel waterproof ammunition/storage boxes approximately 5" wide, 5" deep and 24" long? I have need of two if I can find them...
